OPDA is a group of privately held technology businesses that work together to create “business sounding boards” for each other. The organization controls membership so that each member has no competing companies to worry about, and therefore, can participate as part of the group and feel free to openly discuss business issues with fellow business owners and senior leadership of OPDA organizations.
The organization is focused on helping the business owner and senior leadership of our membership companies with an open sharing platform, advice and support as those companies determine their futures.
Topics that are very common in our conversations:
- Most profitable services products
- Most profitable hardware & software products
- Best practice conversations around employee retention, compensation and recruiting
- Best organizations to partner with
Even though we have participating sponsors participate during our annual meetings, most of the presentations are driven by current members and directly discuss their business and their successes and failures.
Simply put, if you need factual answers to tough business questions OPDA is the place! Many of our members routinely say it is the best meeting they attend each and every year!
The modern OPDA group has memberships with a wide variety of technology focus! Current members have specialties as cloud providers, managed service providers, hardware resellers, software resellers, manufacturer services, custom software and brand identification. Our organization today has members from the east coast to Hawaii.
Benefits of Membership
Access to business owners and senior leadership of our members to openly discuss business challenges in a confidential and open exchange of businesses like yours!
Two annual meetings that are about US and no one else! The goal of these meetings is to improve our businesses and help improve our fellow OPDA members’ organizations.
Access to additional skillsets and authorizations that our membership currently represents.
Attendance at a minimum of 1 annual meeting, currently 2 are scheduled each year, in the spring and fall. This is very important because the benefit to each of our members is hearing from other business owners and senior leadership.
Annual membership fee of $300.00.
Participation and idea exchange, it is very important to contribute, any idea is a good idea and ultimately what you might think someone has thought of 1000 times is sometimes the best advice some members receive.
